Block System

Increasingly, I work with collaborators to design systems with which they can communicate in their native editorial behavior. This is an backend that I designed for any individual or team needing a public-facing archive, with the internal capacity to function as a simple database. It is still in use on current projects (including this website). The premise is that a sustainable method of presenting an archive shouldn't need a designer's constant involvement. The pressure to describe a project and then flexibly edit it is decided and left with the client. Training anyone to use the system and its database should also be very straightforward.
